About this deal

Note:There are various videos on Youtube that show how to regulate an automatic movement, including several specific to Seiko's 7S26.. This is not something that is for the faint of heart. It's not as easy as some people claim. It takes a steady hand and quite a bit of patience. -Don't try it with an expensive watch! La carga en stand-by (mientras no está en uso) dura 41 horas antes de detenerse y necesitar movimiento para ser cargada. I have a modest collection of watches, including 2 other Seiko 5 models, one of which is 14 years old. So, the Seiko 5 is well known to me. Seiko’s exclusive 7S26 calibre automatic movement powers this watch, it consists of 21 jewels and it offers an accuracy of -20/+40 seconds per day. This watch has a water resistance of 30 metres, meaning it should only be exposed to light splashes of water.

A common issue with affordable watches is that the part that is generally compromised with the most is the bracelet, and that is also the case with the SNKL41. The stainless steel bracelet has folded links which makes the watch rattle and just feel cheap. The good news is that thanks to its design with combined polished and brushed elements, it looks great with the case, and is actually quite comfortable to wear.Note: many photographs of this model make it appear that the color is a darker, brownish yellow. The dial doesn't really shift in color as such photos suggest. The first photo of the listing is pretty close to the comparatively light, creamy-beige, actual color. If you are looking for a clean and robust everyday timepiece that can be worn through all of life’s events, the SNKL45 may just be the watch for you. The watch has a white dial with a slightly matte finish and overall actually looks really well-finished. The matte finish gives it an almost silver look at times depending on how the light hits it.

This watch contains an "un-adjusted" Seiko 7S26 movement. This movement's strong point is that it continues to run reliably, just about as accurately, for a very long time before requiring service - typically well over 12 years. Up to 20+ is quite possible. Some people claim to have Seiko watches from the 60s (with very similar movement inside) that are still running beautifully without ever visiting a watch maker (50+ years!). The watch has polished rectangular-shaped hour markers which, again, enhance the perception of quality. Right next to the inside of the markers on the dial, the watch has applied luminous dots which help with legibility in the dark. The hands are leaf/dauphine style hands, also made of polished metal. They also have applied Lumibrite on them. But if you want something else, the SNKL45 also looks great on, for example, a NATO strap. Specifications When purchasing a watch which has a metal bracelet with adjustable links, we will gladly adjust the watch bracelet to fit your wrist before sending the watch to you - free of charge! Night visibility isn’t great, there’s some limited ‘lume’ applied to the hands, and small dots of ‘lume’ at the foot of each silver baton. However, if you do want a really good watch in the dark, then Seiko do plenty! For starters take a look at the Seiko SNXS75K or SNXS77K.Leather strap watches tend to fit without a problem for most wearers. However, watches fitted with metal bracelets often need adjusting to get the perfect fit. If you're not used to automatic mechanical watches, then you need to accept that they'll gain or lose a few seconds a day; even luxury automatics costing thousands do that... The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet that is mostly satin-finished but has some polished parts. As is common with affordable watches, the bracelet is the part of the watch that has been compromised with the most. It has some rattle and doesn’t feel completely robust, but it works and it is quite comfortable on the wrist. It also looks great with the watch. Its value proposition becomes extra evident when you look at this watch in detail. It’s not the best watch out there in terms of finish and build quality, but in relation to its price, there are few better alternatives on the market.
