Mark Kane told me “It looks bad, I even wrote an essay on killing a woman in the woods”. The tutor didn’t remember the essay, submitted two years previously, so this “totally cleared” Kane of any involvement in the murder of Jodi Jones…this to me about sums up the police “investigation” and the reporting by their friend in the media.

I wont provide a link here to the above, but for any doubters out there who think I just made all that up, just copy and paste it into google, that’s if like I did, you want to learn what the experts have to say, they know what they’re talking about, so I encourage you to go and learn what a dog like Mia (even without training) is capable off. When he was later questioned, he mentioned a distinctive hair clasp which was not readily visible on Jodi’s body and his description of her clothing implied he had seen her much later than just at school as he had claimed. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the annual Pro Bono Week event, from 1-5 November, which offers an opportunity to recognise and support the voluntary contribution made by the legal profession across the UK in giving free and much needed legal assistance to those in need: see probonoweek.org.uk/ German shepherds are amazing, that’s why law enforcement and the armies from all over the world use them. And of course they are very popular with Joe Bloggs and co. Luke’s dog Mia found Jodi, there’s absolutely no doubt about it as far as I’m concerned, we can all argue and squabble on here or any forum or anywhere about how many somersaults the dog took, or how many minutes it took, or didn’t take to get along the Roans dyke path from A to B, or B to A (yes some folks were discussing that on a forum, incredible isn’t it?) along the path, shouting over walls, shining torches, what who said or didn’t say to PC plod , or why SK or his girlfriend couldn’t be bothered walking a few of minutes to retrieve something of Jod’s for the dog to sniff…all we like.

News:

Forensic science was found in the above mentioned case after sixteen years, yet we are expected to believe that a child, with no criminal or forensic knowledge, was able to frenziedly murder his girlfriend, mutilate her body, enter his house covered in blood and other forensics, clean up, burn clothes including a parka coat, in less than an hour, and not a trace of DNA or forensics were ever found. It’s impossible.

A long walk to justice - Scott Forbes A long walk to justice - Scott Forbes

Two days after the murder Mitchell bought a Marilyn Manson DVD, “The Golden Age of the Grotesque,” which included images of naked women tied together and subjected to a form of abduction. But up the anti around their false narrative and all the brain dead thugs they are evoking/enticing to cause harm to human life, as JH rightly says, should any harm come to her or ones grandchildren she will hold Forbes and Lean personally responsible for this. Lean and her usual predictive ' I have not produced a hate campaign, lets talk JH and I will show you the error of your ways!' A Forensic Medicine Report completed in October 2004 spoke of the “sexually motivated homicide” and agreed with the FBI findings that the post-mortem injuries reflected “piquerism”…”that is to say, gaining sexual pleasure from cutting and stabbing”. According to John Ferris, Ms Bryson’s brother-in-law, Mark “Bill” Bryson, was in Alice Walker’s home on the morning of the 1st of July and, in discussing the murder, told them how his brother, not Ms Bryson, had seen a youth with “long messy hair, wearing army clothes and big boots” at the Easthouses end of Roan’s Dyke Path. This conversation turned to Luke Mitchell, as he had previously been in the army cadets and the person claimed to have been seen was alleged to be wearing army style clothes. Bill then left Alice Walker’s home to visit his brother and Andrina Bryson. Luke’s DNA was actually found on her bra and her DNA was found on Luke’s trousers, but in an agreement between the Crown and defence team, led by Donald Findlay QC, it was decided the issue of DNA wasn’t relevant as the pair were in an intimate relationship. The Crown weren’t going to say DNA made him the killer as it was expected his DNA would be on Jodi. DNA in this case wouldn’t prove innocence or guilt.

DNA and forensic science have improved dramatically from 10 spikes in 2003, to 16 spikes in 2022, and the science is much more accurate. There are samples in the case, that if re-examined, could definitively prove who the murderer is. This was another slander campaign by the police and fed to their friends in the media. The public then believed that the Mitchell’s were all guilty, making the campaign a success. Around about this time, the rumours in the Dalkeith and Edinburgh area were that Luke Mitchell was taking the blame for his brother Shane, who had a history of being mentally ill and been in Rosslynlee Psychiatric Hospital as a patient, prior to and after the murder of Jodi Jones. Again, these were lies being presented to the public by the media. We now know that it was Jodi’s brother, Joseph, who had a history of mental illness and had been a patient under the Mental Health Act, prior to the murder, after the murder, and at times just prior to the trial of Luke Mitchell. Alice Walker, a woman who had impeded the police investigation from the very beginning, came out and condemned that polygraph test saying, “it doesn’t prove anything, he is a lying cheating murderer.”

Records show that Mark Kane told his close friends a lie, when he said he had been questioned by police as “he had been seen running on Newbattle Road”…a man with a parka coat, with a similar hair style to Luke Mitchell seen on the road where Fleming and Walsh claimed to have seen Luke Mitchell…and who had never been spoken to by police. It certainly wasn’t a copycat murder. The similarities between the two murders were, according to Professor A Busuttil, “aside from the fact that they were both apparently sexually motivated homicides of young women with post-mortem mutilations of the body with a sharp instrument” there were, “No forensically significant similarities between the injury patterns in these two victims” Lorraine Fleming described the man she witnessed at Newbattle Road, approximately two miles away, at 5:45 p.m. – looking like he was “up to no good”, who looked “very much like Luke Mitchell”, and had a “Liam Gallagher hairstyle”.When criminologist, Dr Sandra Lean, started to ask questions about the case as early as 2004, she was spat on in the street, received threats of violence, had bullying men turn up at her home making threats on her life, and all was accepted and permitted by Dalkeith Police. Agree Nicholas, 2023 may just see a lot more of this exposed ;-) As Faith rightly says, 'we will just have to wait and see' But there was something different on the night of the 30th of June 2003. Different enough for her sister Janine, her boyfriend Stephen Kelly, and the head of the family, Alice Walker, to leave Mayfield and walk approximately two miles to meet Luke Mitchell to search for Jodi. The first thing I have to say about the search party is that Luke Mitchell was the only male connected to Jodi Jones who cared enough to go out in search of her. It has always puzzled me why no males in the Jones’ family went looking for a wee girl reported missing.
